Family House Academy students went to the Longview Memorial Park to honor Veterans by placing flags on their graves.

~The heart of a volunteer is not measured in size, but by the depth of the commitment to make a difference in the lives of others~

Community service is a very important part of Family House Academy. It is one of the major pillars in  Family House Academy. We want our kids and parents to understand the value and importance of being proactive members of both our local and global communities.

Since the inception of Family House Academy, the community has done a monthly service project. Examples include: planting trees, handing out stockings to homeless during Christmas, providing AED’s, CPR training, helping send staff to Jordan on humanitarian missions, canned food drives, clothing drives, and many more. In October, Family House Academy adopted a road from the City of Kelso.

Family House Academy is excited for Paige Baldwin as she is in Ghana, Africa with the Peace Corps. The students have been able to discover and learn via Skype with her as she pursues this journey.
