Family House Academy has put together a group of 10 students who are committed to training and finishing their first Spartan Sprint in August 2016. Each student has agreed to recognize the responsibility of upholding the standards of the Spartan creed and the Family House Academy vision in all areas of their lives. The students will be completing various training activities, team building, and community service. The staff and students are looking forward to growing in the next two month and becoming Spartan strong!

A Spartan pushes their mind and body to their limits. A Spartan masters their emotions. A Spartan learns continuously. A Spartan gives generously. A Spartan leads. A Spartan stands up for what they believe in, no matter the cost. A Spartan knows their flaws as well as they know their strengths. A Spartan proves themselves through actions, not words. A Spartan lives each day as if it were their last.

Family House Academy staff spent the last year working toward earning their trifecta medal by completing three Spartan races within one year. They celebrated their success as they all completed the Spartan beast on Saturday in Seattle. What started out as a professional development opportunity for the staff, evolved into a journey of learning to lean into difficulties, embrace challenges, expand vision and becoming Spartan strong. The Spartan races have transformed every aspect of their lives.

Family House Academy staff trained at FOE Crossfit, Physical Impact with trainer Tiffany, and stayed adjusted thanks to Dr. David from Van Fleet Chiropractic.
